Black Currant Salsa

Serves 5

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound
    frozen CurrantCâ„¢ Black Currants, thawed
  • Blood orange, diced
  • 1 Cup
    diced fresh apples
  • 1 Cup
    evaporated cane juice
  • 1 Tablespoon
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 to 1
    Fresh jalapeno, finely minced

Instructions

  1. Wash the Black Currants and dry them with a paper towel. Put the Black Currants into the food processor, and pulse-chop them until diced, but still chunky.

  2. Transfer the Black Currants to a bowl, add the remaining ingredients, and toss well.
