Black Currant Sauce


Great topping for ice cream, pancakes, pound cake etc.


Ingredients

  • 4 Pounds
    frozen CurrantCâ„¢ Black Currants, thawed
  • 3 Cups
    water
  • 3 Cups
    sugar

Instructions

  1. Add 3 cups of water to Black Currants and cook for 15 minutes until soft.

  2. Put through ricer and add 3 cups sugar.

  3. Seal in sterilized jars.
