Red Onion and Blackcurrant Relish


Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup
    butter
  • 4 Tablespoons
    olive oil
  • red onions, sliced
  • 4 Cups
    frozen CurrantCâ„¢ Black Currants
  • 1 Cup
    brown sugar
  • 8 Tablespoons
    white wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and oil in a large pan.

  2. Add onions and cook until soft.

  3. Add black currants, sugar and vinegar.

  4. Stir occasionally for about 30 minutes.

  5. Pour into sterilized jars when cold and seal.

  6. Best kept in refrigerator.
