CurrantC™ Black Currant Old Fashioned

Dating back to the 1800’s, the “Old Fashioned” Cocktail has gone through many modifications. Originally made with Whiskey, Brandy and even Gin, the version we like best is made with Bourbon, and you guessed it, Black Currants! We hope you’ll try this version of this famous cocktail and let us know what you think!

Ingredients

  • 2 Teaspoons
    CurrantC™ Black Currant Syrup
  • 1.5 Ounces
    Bourbon
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Lime Juice
  • Slice of Lime
  • Maraschino Cherry (optional)

Instructions

  1. Stir together syrup, bourbon and lime juice
    Pour over ice in a rock glass
    Garnish with lime slice and cherry
